APE Grupo has announced a seven-million-euro investment during the first half of 2026. The aim is to develop and consolidate its bathroom division. With this commitment, the company expects to increase its turnover by around 25% over the next three years.
This investment will strengthen the operational structure. In addition, it will boost product development and improve service capacity. As a result, APE Grupo’s bathroom division will have a solid base for sustained growth.
The consolidation of APE Grupo’s bathroom division marks a turning point in the group’s evolution. In this context, Ilbagno becomes the key platform for development and positioning.
Ilbagno is evolving towards a more comprehensive approach. It currently offers close to 400 references across bathroom furniture, washbasins, worktops, taps, mirrors and bathtubs. However, the proposal goes beyond simply expanding the catalogue. It is designed to provide complete, coherent solutions for the contemporary bathroom.
Today, the bathroom has taken on a more prominent role in the home. It has become a space for wellbeing, personal care and design. That is why APE Grupo’s bathroom division is committed to a structured and coordinated offering.
This new phase builds on more than three decades of experience in product development, collection design and the management of an established distribution network.
To a large extent, the professional channel that has traditionally worked with the group’s ceramic products is also the one that demands bathroom solutions. Therefore, the integration of this new offering is a natural step. The new division combines in-house design, technical capability and a strong service culture, while remaining consistent with the company’s historic positioning.
Ceramics remain APE Grupo’s main driving force. In fact, they are the foundation on which the company has built its trajectory since 1992.
For this reason, the commitment to the bathroom division does not represent a change of direction. On the contrary, it is a strategic expansion. It introduces new categories that complement the ceramics business and strengthen the group’s overall proposition.
APE Grupo currently brings together five brands: APE, Carmen and XLINING in ceramics; Ilbagno in bathroom; and Vlook in SPC vinyl flooring. Thanks to this structure, the group operates across different segments of the residential and contract markets.
In short, the investment in APE Grupo’s bathroom division marks the start of a new phase. The goal is to grow sustainably, maintain leadership in ceramics and expand the ability to offer coordinated solutions for the home.
This evolution takes place alongside the recent reorganisation of the management structure, including the appointment of David López as Managing Director. The change is designed to strengthen management and support the group’s growth and diversification plans.
