An honorable mention went to the ‘Caruso’ project in the Dominican Republic, designed by the studio Arquimilio. As one of the newest and most chic pizza restaurants in Santo Domingo, it elevates the Italian dining experience to a whole new level. Inspired by the figure of the Italian nonna, it combines traditional charm with a modern twist. Caruso stands out for its cozy atmosphere, detailed decor, and unique elements—such as lemon tree chandeliers and tomato-shaped lamps—creating a memorable ambiance that transports visitors to the warmth of a home.
